Earlier today (10th January), Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad met with Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar for the first time since he was sworn in as Prime Minister in May last year.

According to The Star, the meeting was scheduled for 3pm today at Istana Bukit Serene after the Johor Sultan requested to meet with the Prime Minister a few weeks ago. Tun Dr Mahathir stated that it would just be a normal meeting. Now, it looks like their meeting has just concluded and the Prime Minister is on his way to the Senai airport to return to Kuala Lumpur.

A video of an old first generation Proton Saga was seen driving out of Istana Bukit Serene, and according to Bernama, the Johor Sultan was personally driving Tun Dr Mahathir to the airport in this car!

The Sultan can be seen driving his old school Proton Saga complete with a police escort while the Prime Minister can also be seen sitting in the front passenger seat waving to the press.

Netizens who already caught wind of this video began commending the Johor Sultan for being so humble and courteous.
