Some people are just born a lookalike of others. The resemblance can be of a celebrity, political figures, or anyone famous. We’ve seen a Vin-Diesel lookalike selling Kunafa in Johor but this might be the first.
In a viral TikTok post by @ellyna.wambeck, a security guard in KL went viral recently for looking like Rowan Atkinson.
If you’re not familiar with that name, you’ll recognise Mr. Bean, a character successfully brought to life by the English actor, who has graced our childhood with his exceptional comedic talent.
If you take a clear look, he is also fond of being addressed by the fictional character. His name tag has “Mr. Bean” written on it, indicating that the security guard is well aware of being known for the character. In the video, he was seen handpicking some Dimsum into his bowl for his meal.
“He looks like him, but he’s not him,” Ellyna jokingly stated in her caption.
In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Ellyna said that she was attending a private event somewhere in Mont Kiara, KL, and the Mr. Bean lookalike was one of the guards at the building. When asked further about the Mr. Bean’s doppelganger, Ellyna said,
“I did ask him a bit about himself. I was told that he is a Nepalese.”
Ellyna also told WORLD OF BUZZ that he asked for his real name but she couldn’t remember it well.
“I can’t recall because it was tough for me to pronounce his name. He then asked me to just call him Bean.”
She also said that the people in the building know him for his uncanny resemblance to Mr. Bean, which explains his name tag. It looks like the guard is not only alert about the uncanny resemblance of his face, but he’s also enjoying being addressed with the name.
