Mystery Solved: This Is How You Should Pronounce The Word ’Milo’!

Growing up, almost every single Malaysian kids has had Milo for breakfast. Malaysians, however, have different pronunciations for the word “Milo”. Some pronounce it as “Mai-lo” while some say it’s “Mee-lo”.

Well, the mystery is now solved. Malaysian TikToker Chris MJ previously made a video on Malaysia Day about how Milo should be pronounced as. “I have a very important question and I think we have to settle this, how do you pronounce M-I-L-O?”

According to the Business Executive Officer of Milo, Ng Su Yen, the Malaysians favourite drink Milo is pronounced correctly as “Mai-lo”, and not “Mee-lo”.

Responding to the video, many netizens refuse to accept the answer for this, and enjoy pronouncing it as “Mee-lo”. Regardless, Milo is still the rakyat’s favourite beverage and the pronounciation does not change the fact that it is a delicious drink that most Malaysians grew up with!
