The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2022 results were announced yesterday, with the overall National Average Grade seeing an improvement from the previous year. Furthermore, 10,109 candidates also achieved an impressive straight As in the exam.
One of the 10,109 individuals who aced SPM 2022 was TikTok user @langvel.num Yusra Humaira, scoring an impressive 5A+, 3A and 1A-.
However, the excellent SPM result is a bittersweet moment for Yusra as she recently lost her father and couldn’t share her happiness with him.
In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, Yusra brought her SPM results to her father’s grave and held a conversation with the deceased on how much she misses him and that her excellent result is her gift for Ayah.
As of the time of writing, the video has garnered over 839,000 views and more than 170,300 likes, with most netizens sobbing at the touching tribute.
Yusra, whose nickname by her father is ‘Kakchik’ asserted,
“Kakchik wanted to give my SPM result to you Ayah, because I know that I worked hard when I first entered KISAS. Even though I didn’t get all A+, Kakchik knows that Ayah must be proud of me for getting 9As.”
“Never in my life did Kakchik get 5A+, 3A and 1A-. Alhamdulillah, this is thanks to Ayah’s and Umi’s prayers. Kakchik misses you Ayah.”
At the end of the video, Yusra shared several of her late Ayah’s video messages comforting her and encouraging her to study hard.

In the video’s comments section, many netizens were touched by Yusra’s tribute to her Ayah and gave words of encouragement to her.
One commenter assured Yusra that her father is definitely proud of her from the afterlife. Meanwhile, another commenter sent her a ‘virtual hug’ and wished her success in this world and the afterlife.
