With food prices becoming more and more expensive, Malaysians are expecting to get their money’s worth when they spend their hard-earned money on food vendors.

Though, sadly, not all vendors are giving their customers the value for their money.

Netizen, @alisssfd89, took to his TikTok page to showcase how a local vendor is allegedly cheating their customers, as the set of small buns he purchased from the vendor for RM12 only had jam on the edges (to make it look like the buns are filled with jam).

He wrote, “The eyes were cheated.”

In his video, @alisssfd89’s friends held up the buns to the camera, where the jam could be seen poking out.

Though, upon opening it up, it is revealed that the jam was only spread on the edge, with a measly amount of cream on the inside.

“Surprise, motherf*ck*r!” he said as he laughed at the reveal. “What kind of bun is this, adui. That’s cheating.”

His friend could also be heard saying that the buns cost RM12. All of the buns in the set had the same fillings, a little bit of jam on the edges and a tiny amount of cream on the inside.

“They cheated us through our eyes, but they cannot cheat our mouths.”

Do you think that the buns were worth the cost of RM12? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
