M’sians Praise Penang Bus Driver for Helping Differently-Abled Passenger on Wheelchair Descend from Bus

Being a bus driver is about much more than just getting passengers from point A to point B. These unsung heroes face the challenges of society every day, showing compassion in their work, and they truly deserve recognition for their dedication and service.

Penang Indian Networks recently shared a heartwarming video on their Facebook page, praising a bus driver in Penang for his exceptional service.

Captain Bus Driver Mr. Surendran

In the post, one of the passengers named Cecelia expressed her gratitude to “Captain Bus Driver” Mr. Surendran for his professionalism in fulfilling his duties as a bus driver.

She further praised Mr. Surendran for his dedication to providing top-notch service to all passengers and ensuring their safety.

“His commitment to delivering the best service possible is truly praiseworthy. I want to express my gratitude for his great efforts in keeping passengers safe and secure.”

“Thank you for being an amazing bus captain!”

On the 14th of March 2024, Cecelia witnessed Mr. Surendran helping an OKU passenger on wheelchair to descend from the bus. He even went so far as to assist the passenger to cross the road.

Cecelia went on to describe how she began recording the situation to capture the moment, adding,

“Attached is the video I was able to record, showcasing his hard work and professionalism. Captain, your commitment to defensive driving is truly commendable and highly appreciated.”

 

Netizens started flooding the comment section to express their gratitude for Mr. Surendran.
