Two weeks ago, temperatures in the Klang Valley dipped to a chilly 22°C and Malaysians were happy because they could finally break out in their comfy sweaters they probably bought a long time ago. Alas, that joy only lasted for about a week before the temperature rose back to normal. 🙁

But wait; before you roll out your tanks and shorts once again, we’ve got news because this just in: according to Accuweather, major cities in Malaysia will be experiencing cloudy weather accompanied by a few showers and possible thunderstorms for the rest of the week, as reported by Oriental Daily. Hoorah!

As expected, most Malaysians are on cloud nine over this cloudy weather (geddit geddit?) in place of the regular tropical climate.

“I hope this weather can last for as long as possible. Walking to the LRT station under hot sun is no fun!” a public transport user commented.

“I think this is the only time I can wear my hoodie in Malaysia,” another netizen said.

Meanwhile, others found the weather to be abnormal compared to previous years, where Malaysians would typically visit their relatives under the hot blazing weather during Chinese New Year. “Chinese New Year wouldn’t be the same again without the hot and humid climate,” a Facebook user said.

If we’re honest, this cloudy weather is not only good for breaking out in our sweater, but it’s also perfect for a nap. So, just a reminder, try not to fall asleep in school or your workplace yeah guys!
