Making it on time for your flights or buses is important so as to not get left behind.

With that being said, if a passenger of a bus arrives a minute late and is standing right outside the bus, should they be let in?

The Malaysian Update TikTok page recently shared a video of a man who had arrived slightly late to the Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal (MBKL), only to find that his bus to Melaka was still at the station. Though the bus was already slowly heading out, the man walked alongside it while knocking on the door, hoping that the driver would let him in.

Malaysian Update wrote, “Pity him, may this brother’s burdens be eased.”

In the video, the man could be seen outside of the bus as it slowly moves out of the station. Despite his desperate knocks on the door, the driver ignored him and proceeded on the journey.

The man ran after the bus all the way to the main road before giving up.

Many felt bad for the man while condemning the driver, as it wouldn’t take more than a minute to just stop and let the man onto the bus. Plus, not everyone would have enough money to buy a second ticket.

“Does he (the driver) not have any feelings, just leaving people behind like that.”

Bus 2

“Just imagine, he wanted to go back to visit his parents in his hometown.”

Bus 3

“The driver should be more considerate.”

Bus 4

“If I was on the bus, I would have screamed at the driver to stop. Pity the man, he is already there. Why is the driver so cruel?”
