From generous compliments to effective guidance, our teachers have shaped us to become responsible and outstanding individuals not just academically, but also socially and spiritually.

While nothing can ever repay great teachers for what they’ve done for us, some Malaysians have gone the extra mile to show appreciation for their extraordinary teachers.?

What is Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s®, you ask?

Established in 2017, Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s® seeks to honour remarkable teachers who helped create a conducive learning environment for students to flourish. To date, this award received over 19,000 submissions with more than 106 notable teachers awarded across Malaysia.?

This year, 25 teachers with the most inspiring stories will be awarded RM5,000, while their nominators will receive RM200 worth of McDonald’s vouchers! ?

“We saw major changes in the education system in the past 2 years. Teachers had to transition from in-person classes to fully remote online classes, to different versions of hybrid learning in between. Which is why it is all the more important for Anugerah Guru Inspirasi McDonald’s to continue to celebrate these teachers in 2022, for their substantial efforts in ensuring that there’s continuation of education for students across the nation,” said Dato’ Azmir Jaafar, Managing Director and Local Operating Partner of McDonald’s Malaysia.

Needless to say, there’s no better time than now to show some appreciation for our beloved teachers! ?
