M’sian Woman Panics After Her Car Goes Missing in Bukit Bintang, Turns Out it Was Towed by PDRM

A woman’s sharing about her unforgettable experience at Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, caught the attention of Malaysians recently, garnering over 635,000 views and more than 30,300 likes as of the time of writing.

In the TikTok post, the woman, @wuhuu_balll, shared how her car went missing after parking the vehicle at Bukit Bintang to go eat at a popular restaurant there, leaving her in a state of panic of not knowing what to do.

At the start of the post, she showed the long queue she was in to get to the popular restaurant at night.

Afterwards, she can be seen enjoying a meal at the restaurant, with the overlaid text on the video reading, “Before eating, I can still enjoy laughing,”.

However, things took an unexpected turn after she finished eating, as when she made her way to where her car was parked, the vehicle was missing!

The overlaid text on the video then changed to, “After eating, my car goes missing”.

 

Her car was actually towed by authorities for being illegally parked

Well, as it turned out, her missing vehicle wasn’t carjacked but was actually towed by the traffic department of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) because she parked the car illegally by the roadside at Bukit Bintang.

In the video, @wuhuu_balll showed PDRM patrol cars turning on their siren at a distance.

The video then cuts to the next day at a police station in Kuala Lumpur where she went to pay the summons and collect her towed car.

In the comments section, @wuhuu_balll revealed that she had to pay a summons of RM200; RM100 for the towing and RM100 for the one day the car was kept at the compound.

Meanwhile, in the caption, she asserted,

“I thought my God closed my ‘sight’ that I couldn’t see my car. Don’t park recklessly guys or you’ll suffer the consequences like me,”
