Every girl’s worst nightmare involves the unsettling experience of being approached by a random stranger.

In a recently deleted video by @qstiena__, she shared a harrowing incident involving a man who claimed to know her. This unnerving encounter happened as she attended an event at a mall, taking place around 7:00 pm.

As she entered the basement mall parking, she noticed a peculiar man in the distance. While she tried dismissing it at first, she soon realised he was heading towards her vehicle, which made her feel uneasy. Thankfully, her friends arrived, parking nearby, providing a sense of relief.

Fearful of leaving her car while he lingered outside, she anxiously awaited her friends’ arrival.

When her friends arrived, the man approached, claiming he knew her and insisted on discussing their alleged WhatsApp conversations. She discreetly recorded the encounter as the man persisted, demanding her number and following them into the mall while attempting to take pictures.

Desperate for assistance, they approached mall security guards, only to find that they weren’t much help due to a language barrier. Fearing for their safety, they decided to hide in the ladies’ room, traumatized by the unsettling situation.

“I’m so traumatised. I don’t know if what I’m doing is right. I’m scared the man will somehow find me because the video of him went viral. What should I do now?”

After the deleted video went viral, she revealed that other girls had similar encounters with the same man, raising concerns among netizens in the comment section.

“Avoid posting or exposing anything, especially on Instagram story or feed. Make a report with your father present so that the police will take the situation seriously. A vengeful person can be dangerous.”

Mall 2

“As for now, avoid updating your whereabouts, especially on social media. Before getting in and out of your vehicle, always check your surroundings first. Bring pepper spray and place it where you can easily access it. Avoid going anywhere alone.”

Mall 3

“Hopefully, nothing bad will happen to you. Just make a police report for safety measures.”

The gravity of the situation prompted her decision to file a police report to ensure her safety and prevent further incidents.

She ended the video with advice to all the girls out there:

“If you’re generally the type that likes to walk alone, especially at night, please stay alert.”

It’s a scary world out there, and we’ll never know what people’s intentions are. Always remember to prioritize your safety and be aware of your surroundings.
