Just months ago, warnings were circulating on social media and local news outlets, urging joggers and pedestrians to be extra cautious while out for their runs in Rawang.

These warnings highlighted the alarming discovery of nails deliberately lined along the road, which could potentially cause injuries to anyone passing by.

The perpetrator planted 4 nails on the road

Recently, a new video surfaced, sparking concerns among netizens. The clip, shared by @mynewshub, shows a man jogging along the roads of Kota Emerald in Rawang.

In the video, the man recounts how, while running, he accidentally stepped on one of the nails that was wedged into the road with the pointed part facing upwards.

“The perpetrator removed the heads of the nails and stuck them into the ground with the pointed end facing upwards on the road. There weren’t just 1 or 2 but 4 nails in total. 1 of them even got stuck in my shoe.”

The perpetrator left the nails at a different location this time around

The man went on to explain that the nail had already pierced through his shoe, but thankfully, the thick sole prevented any major injuries.

“I remember hearing about this issue in the news before, but back then, the nails were placed in a different spot within the same area. Now, it seems the nails have been moved to this part of the road, possibly because the perpetrator noticed more people running here.”

He expressed his concerns, urging anyone passing through the area, even on a motorcycle, to be extra cautious.
