Road users had the shock of their lives while travelling on the North-South Expressway, near the Tapah rest and recreational area (R&R), due to an unexpected obstruction.
Netizen, Ozzey Fdez, took to her TikTok page to showcase how a man had not only decided to stand in the middle of the highway on the southbound side but also threw himself at cars as they passed.
She wrote, “He jumped in front of our car and others in the middle of the highway.”
In the video showcased, the man could be seen blocking the car in front of Ozzey Fdez, forcing the car to slow down and drive around him.
As Ozzey Fdez’s vehicle accelerated forward, the man jumped towards her car. Thankfully, he missed and she managed to drive away from the situation.
Others have seen him too!
While some netizens shared that they, too, encountered the man, others pointed out that he could be attempting an insurance scam.
“Yes, last night while I was riding my motorcycle, I saw him blocking vehicles while saying “hit lah, hit“. I stopped at the Behrang R&R and immediately reported him to the PLUS hotline. He’s endangering others.”
“When I passed by there last night, he was already at the side of the road. But, he was still like that, trying to run to the middle of the road. And not far ahead, there were a group of motorcyclists gathering.”
“He’s attempting insurance fraud.”
“Is this brother trying to claim insurance?”
