For many, graduation is a day they’ve been dreaming about for years, and one they’ll never forget… especially for these graduates.
A recent video that’s been going viral shows @nrl_.izzati on TikTok giving a peek of her and her fellow graduates in their graduation robes, doing a photoshoot before their convocation ceremony.
Convocation photoshoot, but with tourists
Instead of having a convocation photoshoot with fellow graduates, it turned into an impromptu photoshoot with tourists who seemed very keen on how they were dressed.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Izzati shared how she and eight of her friends had planned a pre-convocation photoshoot near Masjid Jamek. However, when they arrived, they found the area packed with people, including tourists.
“All 9 of us decided to do a pre-convo photoshoot near the Masjid Jamek area. But when we got there, we realized the place was swarming with people, including tourists, probably because it was a Saturday.”
“We felt famous for a moment”
Izzati explained that while they were doing the photoshoot, she and her friends noticed a group of tourists taking pictures of them from a distance.
She revealed that after a while, the group of tourists came up to them and asked to take photos, with everyone taking turns to pose for a photo with them.
“The funny part was that they even took turns taking pictures with us. At one point, we felt like we were artists, though we definitely didn’t expect that,” she added.
Netizens were equally amused by the situation, flooding the comments section with their reactions.
