Footage from a dashcam in Kedah caught the attention of Malaysians recently, showing a driver driving dangerously on a curved road in a Kampung area, which ended badly.

The video, shared by Shafie Ahmat on the DashCam Owners Malaysia Facebook page, has garnered over 237,000 views and more than 2,700 reactions on the platform as of the time of writing.

At the start of the video, the yellow car can be seen merging into the road before immediately accelerating, with its loud engine roar clearly audible.

Coming into the curved road, the driver dangerously overtook a motorcyclist before further accelerating through the curved road.

However, this turned out to be a bad idea, as the vehicle lost control and swerved to the right.

As the driver in the dashcam caught up, the yellow car could be seen having crashed into a small ditch on the right side of the road.

Thankfully, the driver wasn’t injured as he could be seen disembarking from his car and walking around the crashed vehicle, presumably to check on the damage that the crash had incurred.
