Going overseas to study is not an easy thing as it can get very expensive and one would need to work part-time to support themselves.

It was reported by ET Today that a Malaysian student studying in Taiwan was arrested for giving “special massages” while working at a health centre.

The health club is located in Taipei and was talked about a lot on online forums. The male masseurs were the main attraction and their services start from 2,000NTD (RM287).

With that much hype, the police eventually went to visit the health centre (with a warrant) on the evening of December 6. 6 masseurs and clients were detained and one of them was a Malaysian who was in Taiwan to study.

“The male masseur surnamed Lin said that after coming to Taiwan to study, he lacked money to spend, so he wanted to find a place to work.”

Health club employees surnamed Wang and Huang confessed that they had warned masseurs not to provide these massages and had mentioned that they did not know of “those services” that are between the masseurs and clients.

The masseurs and clients were detained for violating the Social Order Maintenance Law.

Well, even if one needs money, doing something illegal in a foreign country is not worth it.
