One Malaysian student went on to social media, sharing her experience of how a physical education teacher got really ‘personal’ when talking about sexual harassment.

Taking to Twitter, here is what the student shared.

“Today in class, we were learning about physical education with this male teacher.”

“It was going good. We talked about sexual harassment and taking care of ourselves.”

“He made a couple of jokes and slowly it became weirder and more obscene.”

At this moment, things got truly out of hand.

“The teacher said – If you want to rape someone, don’t go for those below 18 years of age. Do it to those above 18.”

“The girls were quiet, but the boy were laughing. He adds that if boys became the victims of rape, it will not be reported because it feels ‘sedap’ to them.”

Wanting to see the teacher reprimanded for his actions, the student went to the school’s counselor for help.

The teacher said – “I would like to apologise on behalf of the teacher.”

“For boys, jokes like this do not deter them, but for girls, the joke may be sensitive to them and teenage girls are sensitive and emotional about this. It is in their nature.”

What a sexist statement!

Well, for now, the students did not inform her followers of any follow-ups from the school. Well, who could blame her. On one hand, you have a perverted physical education teacher and on the other a sexist counselor who thinks rape jokes are usually taught in male-only classes and girls are too sensitive because it is in their nature.
