We have heard of Malaysians helping one another when times get tough, but this is one of the rare times we’ve seen Malaysians coming together to help a poor doggy in need.
Nahur Bhai of the Good People Club, took to his Facebook profile to showcase how he freed a dog that had a stick tied to it with a wire in Kuala Kubu Bharu, with the help of random passerbys.
He wrote, “Experienced this along our journey today. Insyallah, thank you to Khirunnizam Mohd Lani, the Cycling KL team, Mohammad Zaki Ibrahim and our friends from Setapak for their help. Insyallah, may Allah bless this fur-kid and the team. Together we can make a difference.”
In a video, Nahur can be seen approaching the poor dog, petting and comforting it as he figures out how to untangle the wire from the dog’s neck.
Soon after, passerbys stopped to help, as one person held the stick while the others figured out how to loosen the tightly tangled wire.
The group of strangers struggled at first but they put their heads together and with the help of a knife, they managed to cut the wire and free the poor dog, who was clearly distressed from the experience.
They then smiled with each other, said their thank yous and went their separate ways.
It’s truly refreshing to see that Malaysians are ready to step forward even to help those of other species. These guys truly embodied the humanity that resides within Malaysians.
Kudos, ya’ll!
