Fathers everywhere are fuming as once again a man has taken the responsibilities of fatherhood and turned it into something vile and unthinkable.

A fisherman in Ipoh has been sentenced to 202 years in prison along with 23 strokes of the cane after he had admitted to 22 counts of rape, molest, having unnatural sex and taking a video of her naked with his cellphone since April 2016, as according to Astro Awani.

Unfortunately, the accused will only be undergoing 38 years of jail time after the judge who passed the sentence on this case, Judge Datuk Julie Lack Abdullah chose to execute his sentences to run concurrently and some consecutively from the date of his arrest.

He was charged under Section 354 of the Penal Code for committing criminal acts with the intent to outrage her modesty and Section 509 of the Penal Code for taking pictures of her stepdaughter while she got dressed.

He was also accused of 14 counts of committing intercourse and having non-consensual sex with his stepdaughter, alongside two accusations of outraging the teenager’s modesty.

All of these offenses are being charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code, 376B (1) of the Penal Code, 377CA of the Penal Code and Sections 14 (a) and 14 (b) of the Child Sexual Offenses Act 2017.

All of the offences are said to have been committed at their house in Sitiawan, Manjung from the 16th of April, 2016 up until the 29th of September, this year. The accused is said to have forcefully gone into her bedroom, removed her clothes, fondled her breasts and inserted his finger into her vagina before he raped her. He had also raped her in the living room.

Apparently, he had divorced the girl’s mother but they were still living in the same house. He would commit these unspeakable acts when the mother had gone out or was asleep in another room. The poor victim said that her stepfather had threatened her and she was scared of him.

The mother did not realise that there was anything wrong until she found an SD card folder titled AnakKu on Sept 30 with indecent photos of her daughter. She lodged a police report on the same day and the accused was arrested.

He was first accused of his crimes on the 11th of October, 2019, but he had pleaded not guilty to 16 out of 22 charges brought up against him.

However, when the case was reiterated on Tuesday, the accused changed his confession and pleaded guilty to all charges.

Do you think he’ll learn his lesson or will he remain a danger to society? Let us know in the comment section below.
