It’s common to accidentally leave things behind on the plane, especially after a long flight. However, getting them back at all is quite rare, and sometimes it takes a while for you to retrieve them.

In a recent post shared by a flight passenger, Yat Omar took it upon himself to thank a local airline for their prompt assistance after he left his device on the plane.

“A big thank you to all the cabin crew who assisted”

In his post, he recounted accidentally leaving his tablet on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan. It was only upon reaching the baggage claim area that he realised his device was still on the plane.

Yat then explained how he rushed back to the plane upon realising his tablet was left on the seat, hoping to that it was still there.

“I was just about to reach the baggage claim area when I realised I’d left my tablet on the seat inside the plane. I quickly ran back to try to retrieve it.”

“Your tablet is at the counter”

Yat went on to describe how, as he hurried back to the plane, he didn’t think the cabin crew had even noticed or remebered him as a passenger on the flight.

He mentioned that as he made his way back, every single cabin crew member who passed by him informed him, saying,

“Your tablet is at counter A4.”

Upon reaching the counter, Yat was warmly greeted and assisted by the cabin crew chief, Sharizal, who waited and entertained Yat along with the ground crew.

“Thank you so much”

Yat mentioned how the crew were incredibly kind, making conversations with him to calm his nerves and help him catch his breath. He was worried about losing his tablet for good.

He concluded the post by expressing gratitude to the airline for their exceptional service and mentioned how he always enjoyed flying with them.

“They were so kind to me. They even helped me to calm my nerves. Thank you for the exceptional service. I’ve always loved flying with them. Thank you so much.”

Big shoutout to the cabin crew for their helpfulness and hospitality in assisting a passenger in need!
