Mamak eateries tend to have crazy menus with weird combinations of Rotis these days, to try to differentiate themselves from the abundance of other mamak eateries.

But, would you consider Roti Banana as a crazy combinations or something that’s rather common, that all Mamaks would know?

Netizen, Mimi Hana, took to her TikTok account to showcase how a man had ordered Roti Banana (Roti Canai with banana inside) at a Mamak eatery, only to receive a bun and a banana on the side.

Roti Pisang or Roti and Pisang?

In a prior video, the man could be seen ordering his meal to the waiter.

“Do you have Roti Pisang?” he asked, to which the waiter nodded. He then ordered a Roti Pisang along with a few other dishes.

In her next video, the waiter had arrived with a packaged bun and a whole banana on a Roti Canai plate, baffling the man.

“What is this?” the man asked, to which the waiter answered, “Roti Pisang?”

“This is not what I wanted, brother,” the man laughed, “Do you or do you not know?”

In the end, the decided to accept the bun and the banana out of pity for the clearly confused waiter.
