It’s apparent that many Malaysians have intense road rage and it’s becoming a problem. Long gone are the days of people yelling to themselves in their cars as many appear to be choosing to resort to confrontation and violence now.
For instance, a video of a man brandishing a samurai sword at a rest stop petrol station in Kedah is currently making its rounds online.
Twitter page, MYNEWSHUB, recently shared the video, where the man could be seen pointing the samurai sword while confronting other road users.
They wrote, “Another guest for the police.”
According to a report by New Straits Times, the man with the samurai sword was allegedly unhappy that motorists had honked at him as he was using his phone while exiting a junction.
Bystanders attempted to calm the man down, but he proceeded to threaten the motorists and demanded an apology, leading someone to call the police.
Sinar Harian has since shared that the police had sent a task force to the location after receiving the call and the man was promptly arrested.

To think that there are people out there driving around with anger issues and weapons in their vehicles is truly terrifying.
We genuinely hope that the authorities take preventive measures to prevent worse outcomes.
