As the cost of goods have been on the rise in recent times, it is unsurprising to see restaurants and food stalls increase the prices of their meals. Generally, us consumers understand this need to hike up prices, however, there is a line when it becomes unacceptable, especially if the portion is not equivalent to the price.

In a video which has gone viral on TikTok, a customer had shared their disappointment after they had bought a stick of deep fried squid, only to find that it contained only 2 tiny pieces of squid underneath the batter.

The video which was circulated by @konten.my, showcased how the customer had compared the size of the deep fried squid to their hand. Despite it appearing huge due to the size of the batter, it turns out that the eatery barely put any squid underneath the batter.

It is unknown where the buyer had bought it from and how much it costed.

What a joke!

The video has since gone viral on TikTok and currently sits on over 1.3 million views. Netizens found it extremely amusing and made jokes about other situations where you’d buy something but not end up getting the full package.

“That’s okay, at least can taste a bit of the squid. I bought mee goreng mamak, I only got the mee, they didn’t give me the mamak.”

“I ordered telur mata kerbau, ended up getting the egg, and not the mata kerbau,” commented a user jokingly.
