The lesser the price, the lesser the portion of the food, and probably a lower quality too. A restaurant in Shah Alam, however, has recently shocked some Malaysian customers with its generous portion of rice for only RM10.

The pricing may be standard in some places but we can tell you that based on the TikTok post by @manhaikal_,  the portions of the food were exceptionally generous. Man and his 2 other friends visited the restaurant in Padang Jawa, Shah Alam. They had 2 plates of Kampung Fried Rice and a plate of Paprik Fried Rice.

With that mountain of a portion, each plate was only RM10.

“There is enough supply of food for 1 year, and I’m already full for the week,” Man joked in his caption.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Man said the place is called Nasi Bukit Padang Jawa. Given the exceptionally generous portion, we think we understand why the word “Bukit” (hill) was used. Did Man and his friends manage to finish the food?

They couldn’t, because it was too much for every one of them. However, to avoid wastage, they packed it.

“We shared our food but eventually, we packed our food because we couldn’t finish it.”

Man also said they were not aware of the portion of the food before visiting the place, and told WORLD OF BUZZ that the beverage cost only RM3 each, which was placed in a bowl.

The location was also one of the hotspots for the students nearby to have their meals given the cheap price and generous portion. You can watch the clip below and see if you’re stunned by the portion.

To all the foodies out there, you may have gone on a lot of food hunting, but can you finish a plate of that portion on your own?
