Getting your license is probably one of the best feelings ever, especially when you’ve failed the test a few times. The idea of being able to roam around in your car without a care in the world, knowing that no police roadblocks can stop you, is exhilarating.
In a recent post shared by @nrelshaaa, she and her friend can be seen being pulled over by the police. However, it’s her response to the situation that adds a humorous twist to the incident.
She shared that she’s had her license for close to a year and has never been stopped or asked to provide it. In the video, they can be heard thanking the police for stopping them; even the police officer laughed along as he found it humorous.
We can all agree that this incident is a rare sight, considering we’ve all experienced that sinking feeling when our licenses expire or maybe due to having tinted cars.
And what better way to add humor than to view it from the perspective of netizens?
“Ever since I got my license, I get stopped by the police every time without fail. I’m so tempted to ask them if I give off the impression of someone without a license.”
“Even the police officer had a good laugh over the situation.”
“Getting your license is not cheap, so naturally, you need to show it off somehow.”
“In my case, whenever I don’t have my license on me, that’s when police officers decide to stop me. However, whenever I have it with me, there’s no sign of the police anywhere.”
“My first time going through a police roadblock, the police asked me why I look different in the picture and in real life. I jokingly told them that people can change.”
