A friendship is meant to last a lifetime when it has been tested by time and yet it still stands strong. True friends stand by you through every ‘storm’, both figuratively and literally.

In a recent post on TikTok, user @kambing.36 shared a moment between himself and his friends at an eatery in Subang Jaya. The friends were taking the “whoever stands up first has to pay the bill” rule a little too seriously, refusing to budge.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Farish revealed how he and his friends were enjoying coffee in the outdoor area of the eatery when it started to rain.

He then came up with the idea that whoever stood up first would have to pay the bill. Surprisingly, despite the downpour, no one dared to stand up.

They sat under the pouring rain for over an hour

Farish went on to explain how other customers and the staff at the eatery laughed at them, with some even starting to record the incident.

“Everyone was laughing at us, and some even pulled out their phones to record. Even the staff at the eatery found the situation hilarious.”

It was reported that Farish and his friends ended up sitting under the pouring rain until the football match was finished. However, in the end, they all stood up together and paid the bill as a group.
