Despite the lockdowns being over and the economy (very) slowly recovering, there are still many out there who are suffering.

One family had even become displaced because of injustice.

Uncle Kentang took to his Facebook page to seek help for a family that is now living in their car because the father, a security guard, hasn’t been paid.

He wrote, “They’ve been sleeping in their car for a month now. They have no place to stay. Her husband is a security guard. He is said to have been cheated out of his salary.”

In the images shared, a small baby can be seen sleeping in the back seat.

They were allegedly evicted from their home after they couldn’t pay their last 3 months of rent due to this.

“We’ll arrange for them to sleep in a 99 Hotel first. After this, I’ll find a flat to rent and then look for appliances. So sad. Later I’ll set up a Kentangfund for this case. We are looking for RM4,500 for rent and home appliances. Let’s all together donate to help them,” he added.

Thanks to Uncle Kentang’s credibility and influence, RM4,800 was quickly raised to help this family.

With the money, they can help the family by providing them with a roof over their heads and necessities for them to carry out their daily routines.

Now, we just hope that the uncle gets the justice that he deserves for being cheated out of his salary.

Thank you, Uncle Kentang, for helping them!
