Taking to TikTok, this netizen shares why we should not disturb or kill lizards as they are doing us a world of favours, despite their fearsome demeanour.

“If you see lizards lurking around, please do not disturb or kill them,” he said.

“Why? Because biawaks has this one important duty that it does, which is eating eggs that belong to venomous snakes.”

He added, “Remember, these snakes can lay up to ten eggs at any given time.”
