One word, EEEEEKKK!
The Malaysian weather has been unpredictable these past few days mirroring the number of Covid-19 cases. While the day starts of with sunshine, there’s no telling if, by the time you’re coming back from work, there’s already a storm brewing.
Now, a downside to the sudden rainy weather is the emergence of creepy-crawly insects. Facebook user Joel Chee shared how during his evening walk beside the Melaka River, he saw two guys fishing and suddenly one of the guys started fanning off a few cockroaches from his neck. Joel found it a little odd but his jaw dropped when he walked past a pillar and found it covered with cockroaches!

“The next time you’re here, don’t touch the pillars. I think the cockroaches came up due to the flood. Hopefully, after a few days, they will go back to their houses.”

Joel added that he has never seen anything like this which is what led him to take pictures of the pillar and give a short PSA for joggers in the area. His post quickly went viral garnering almost 1K shares with commenters saying how they were squirming just looking at the pictures!
