The dangerous action of the rear passenger of a vehicle driving on an undisclosed road in Malaysia led to the worry and ire of netizens recently after a video of the individual surfaced online.

Shared by @update11111 on X (formerly Twitter), the video showed the male passenger with half his body dangling out of the car while holding a smartphone on a gimbal.

In the 15-second video, the man was apparently using the gimbal setup to record a video of a blue sedan that was driving right next to the car.

It is unknown whether both vehicles were coordinating to record a video, but the man can be seen recording the whole sequence of the blue car overtaking the vehicle as it moved through the curved road.

Malaysians urge authorities to take action against both vehicles

In the comments, many Malaysians criticised the man for the dangerous action and hoped that the relevant authorities would take appropriate action against those involved.

One commenter branded the man stupid for doing such a stunt and said that they should’ve recorded from a parked vehicle at a safer spot.

Meanwhile, another commenter tagged the Road Transport Department’s (JPJ) X account and urged them to take action as both of the vehicles’ plate numbers were visible.
