A recent incident has caught the attention of netizens after a Malaysian couple confronted two individuals, believed to be foreigners, who allegedly tried to reserve a parking spot by standing in it.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Shezlina (@shezlinaa) shared that she and her husband were about to leave the parking area when they came across a blue Mercedes driver who was trying to enter the parking spot but was stopped by the two individuals, who allegedly refused to move.

Foreign individuals reportedly refused to give in during parking dispute
Shezlina, who recorded the whole incident, further shared that she and her husband decided to step in to help calmly defuse the situation, while simply reminding the individuals to follow the parking rules.
When the couple approached them, Shezlina claimed that the two individuals responded rudely and said that they were born in Malaysia and even had Malaysian ICs (MyKad).
“My husband and I were trying to leave the parking area when we saw these two people blocking the parking spot. We wanted to help the blue Mercedes that was waiting to park, so we approached them and politely asked them to move.
“During the argument, I simply told them nicely that if they were in Malaysia, they should follow Malaysian rules. They then claimed that they were born in Malaysia. I asked if they had Malaysian ICs, and the woman said yes,” she explained.

“Please respect Malaysian rules”
Shezlina also revealed that the blue Mercedes driver eventually left after the two individuals refused to budge.
“However, they refused to move even an inch, so the blue Mercedes eventually decided to give up and leave.
“I also want to clarify that the parking area is actually a two-way road, even though the signage can be quite confusing. From the video, it may look like it is a one-way road, but it is actually two-way.”

Reflecting on the incident, Shezlina reminded others that Malaysian rules should be respected and followed while in the country.
“I asked them nicely to follow the parking rules, but they refused and even claimed they were born in Malaysia and have Malaysian ICs. In the end, the blue Mercedes that was supposed to get the parking spot had to leave because these two simply wouldn’t budge. Very rude attitude. Please respect Malaysian rules when you’re here. Rude behaviour like this is really unnecessary,” the caption of her post read.
