Parents have a duty to be responsible and ensure that their kids do not get into any trouble or cause trouble for others.

However, it appears that some parents simply do not care about their children and simply let them do whatever they want without punishment.

Recently, a Twitter user took to the platform to complain about his neighbour’s kids. In a video shared by Faiz, he stated that his neighbour’s kids had climbed on top of his sister’s car which was parked outside.

“This is why parental control is important (if not) it will end up like this. Whose naughty kids are climbing on my sister’s car. So if we voice out this issue, would we get into a conflict for not respecting someone’s children“, he wrote.

In an updated tweet, Faiz said that his younger brother has since confronted the parents about it and that they have since apologised for their children’s behaviour.

Calls for parents to step up

The post has since gone viral and plenty of netizens have left their thoughts in the comments section. The majority of users shared ways on how they would’ve dealt with the issue, while some shared similar experiences.

“Where is the mum, I want to give her a class on how to be a parent.”

Another user commented, “If it were me, I’d climb on top of their parent’s car and treat it like a trampoline. You get what you give.”

One user condemned the popular phrase of letting kids be kids and do whatever they want. “If the windshield breaks, are you gonna replace it? Some people are just not qualified to become parents.”
