Let’s face it, across the country, you will find notorious hotels where guests have encountered and embraced claims of paranormal encounters.

…and a good horror story with video proof will surely be the talk of the town, such as this one, where a netizen shared what happened during her stay at a hotel in Cameron Highlands, Pahang.

She shared, “At the time I was Live on TikTok…and as usual, I was putting on my skincare routine. At the time I heard dogs barking, and I didn’t realise that if I acknowledged that something weird was going on, it would happen.”

“After I acknowledged that the dogs barking like that was something out of the ordinary, weird things started to happen because a knocking sound was heard but I didn’t pay much attention to it.”

“I let the matter go because it was quite windy so it could be because of that. My husband was around so I wasn’t that scared. But things got weirder…” she explained.

She added, “The cupboards began making sounds and there were faint noises of people arguing. Then there were banging sounds so I made my way to the door but didn’t dare to open it.”

Once she opened the door, she could see that the emergency exit door kept on opening and closing forcefully, creating a continuous banging noise.

She then simply closed her door, sharing that she was not keen on staying there anymore. She even acknowledged the fact that many share their own horror stories when staying at this particular hotel in Cameron Highlands.

Despite having made to go through her paranormal encounter, she did post a corresponding video, stating that what happened was merely a sense of heightened fear, and is not what it was made out to be.

In a corresponding video, she mentioned that the banging door was stopped by a heavy boulder and that when security closed it properly, the noise stopped.

“I did not intend for the video to disrupt the hotel’s operations or business.”

“I did continue to stay there until my checkout date, and I want to put a stop to all the hearsay that was going on about the hotel because of my video,” she explained.

Well, for whatever reason, we all still love a good ghost story, don’t we?
