Malaysia is expected to receive the first batch of the Covid-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech in February 2021, reported Channel News Asia. It was agreed last month that Malaysia will buy 12.8 million doses of the vaccine, with one million doses in the first quarter of 2021, and 1.7 million, 5.8 million and 4.3 million doses to follow in subsequent quarters.
The Ministry of Health has since created a survey that allows them to track how many Malaysians are willing to be vaccinated once the vaccine arrives, as well as to record those who reject it.
In a Facebook post, they wrote:
“MOH would like to invite you to participate in the Covid-19 vaccination acceptance or refusal survey.”
The survey will allow Malaysians who take part to remain anonymous as it only requires your age, gender, occupation, level of education and history of illnesses.
Once you have selected the relevant boxes, the survey will lead you to a page where you can tick ‘Disagree’, ‘Not sure’, or ‘Agree’ to whether you are willing to accept the vaccine or not.
