RM20 for a box of fries that are longer than the usual size?

In a viral TikTok post by @beritaofficial.my, originally shared by @aimkchup, a customer revealed that he purchased two boxes of fries, which cost him RM40 just for the snacks. Each box costs RM20 with specific sauces. The fries are longer than the ones we usually get from fast-food chains and restaurants.

However, the portion does not fill the entire box as you would expect. The taste, on the other hand, was not on par with what the customer had expected.

“Does it taste like potato? Not at all. I give it a rating of 0.5. What an easy way for them to make money.”

The customer also highlighted the taste, which, to him, was like flour.

“Might as well get Churros”

Social media users, including past customers of the fries, were baffled not only at the ridiculous price but also agreed with the man about the taste.

“These fries are not like fries at all. It’s thick with flour, not with taste.”

“Might as well get Churros, which would be more satisfying,” said a user.

Another commented, “I agree. It tastes so bad. They wanted to imitate the taste of the other brand but failed.”

“Might as well buy a pack of fries from the speed mart and fry at home. You get 1 KG from that,” said a user.

“A box for RM20. You might as well buy them and fry them at home.”
