What is wrong with these people? A man sadly lost his 34-year-old wife recently when she refused to drink with some young men who approached her in a karaoke centre. This resulted in a huge fight where she got injured and had to be hospitalised.

According to Sinchew, the incident happened in Taipei and the man, surnamed Xu, went to the karaoke outlet with his wife and sister-in-law on 28th July. He said that he let them down first as he wanted to park the car and both women went to the counter to get their room.

At the counter, the women encountered a group of young men who started talking with them but they ignored the guys. After getting their room, the two women went to the washroom and bumped into the same group of men. They appeared to be getting drunk and were holding beers. The men asked the women to accompany them to drink but they ignored the guys and went back to their karaoke room, where Xu was waiting.

It looks like ignoring them was the last straw for these guys because they must have followed Xu’s wife and his sister-in-law back to their room as they burst in not long after that. They were very angry that both women had ignored their offers and started shouting and pointing at them.

A huge fight broke out as Xu defended his wife and sister-in-law. During this 20-minute fight, Xu’s wife got badly beaten up and fell unconscious. She was sent to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries soon after that, leaving behind Xu and their two daughters. Xu and his sister-in-law are furious with the karaoke staff, as no one helped them during the fight.

The police arrived after the fight was over, which was too late as Xu’s wife was already severely injured. The grieving husband is looking to take legal action against the karaoke outlet. The staff said that the scene looked too chaotic at that time and they were afraid to step forward so they could only wait for the police. Five men have been arrested and the police are currently investigating.

Oh no, hope the police manage to catch the culprits ASAP!
