Taking to TikTok, this Mandarin Language freelance tutor shared how a group of Malaysians commended her after she taught her class at a mamak.

Having organised her classes online at this restaurant, this group couldn’t help but eavesdrop before offering her positive feedback on her classroom.

“This group of friends have been looking at me throughout my class,” she explained.

When she ended her class, this man said:

“Your Mandarin is very good. Who are your students? Their Mandarin is very good too.”

She stated, “My students are mostly Malay, and they go to SJKC.”

“I only teach them basic Mandarin, mostly reading. I work as a freelance tutor,” she added.

“In the day I teach basic Mandarin at a religious school.”

Well, isn’t it nice to learn as much as we can about one another?
