However, the man reportedly left his Identity Card (IC) at the showroom when he drove away!

According to The Star, the incident occurred last Saturday evening (3rd June) when the man reportedly walked into the showroom and asked a salesperson whether he could test drive one of the cars.

During the test drive, the man drove to a nearby restaurant and suddenly informed the salesperson that he was going to pick up two of his friends.

After the two of his friends got in the car, one of them held a sharp object to the salesperson’s neck and covered his head with a cloth while the main suspect drove to Lundang.

“The salesperson tried to fight back but he was punched and later abandoned in a residential area in Lubuk Jong, Pasir Mas,” said Kelantan deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm Din Ahmad.

After the salesperson was abandoned, he decided to make a police report at a nearby station. While making the report, he realised that the main suspect actually left his IC behind at the showroom! *Facepalm*

Now that the identity of the main suspect is known by the police, they are currently pursuing the three men. It probably won’t be long until they’re caught!
