When God created man, he probably should have created their testicles firmly attached to their bodies. Through much hilarious and amusing news of balls getting stuck in the holes of a chair and such, it proves anything could happen if you’re not careful enough.

In the wee hours of approximately 4.48am on Oct 3, firefighters of the sleeping Zhongshan city received a call for help from a desperate man in the Guangdong province. When help arrived, the strong men were at a lost as they found a 45-year old man with his balls stuck in between 2 strong magnets. Wow, I’m sure that wasn’t in the job description.

Considering the delicate situation may not be in their expertise, the firefighters decided to bring the man to the hospital. Also, because the man was in great pain and it’s anĀ areaĀ that requires lots of TLC. According to the Southern Metropolis Daily, the victim explained that he experimented with some “magnetic therapy” when the two magnetsĀ got strongly bound together. Ok … therapy down there?!

Sadly, due to the unusual nature of the situation, even when he was brought to the hospital doctors spent 4 hours debating for the best course of action.

In a video that captured the event, a doctor can be heard exclaiming that he has “never encountered anything like this before” and asked who will be responsible should things go wrong.

Understandably impatient as things are getting any looser, the man on the gurney told the doctor that he’ll take full responsibility. He even suggested saying, “A few of you together should have enough strength to pry the magnet off.”

After the disclaimer and permission obtained from both the man and his wife, the doctors and fireman got down to business. They tried prying the magnets open with a hydraulic tool. But sadly, they found that the hydraulic tool couldn’t fit and the magnets are too tightly stuck.

In a desperate attempt, the doctor even called the manufacturer of the magnets for some advises. The company suggested that they could try to slide them off but doctor deemed the idea too risky and struggled to find a different solution.

That’s one huge tool down there šŸ˜‰ the hydraulic cutter that is.

After four hours of painful brainstorming, the firefighters soon found that the magnets were not as sturdy and they thought. So, they brought in a hydraulic cutter and carefully drilled into the magnets to break them up, eventually reducing their powerful pull and hold on the man’s balls.Ā Though I think what’s stronger than the magnet is these firemen’s will power not to laugh.

Thankfully the operation was successful, and they managed to free the man. Good job fire fighters!Ā Through a medical check, doctors also declared that there was no serious damage on the man’s testicles and are expected to make a full recovery.

It’s safe to assume that the man would not be returning to “magnetic therapy” anytime soon.

Watch the video of his ‘operation’ below (don’t worry it’s SFW):
