The deceased’s wife confirmed the tragic news that her husband had been found by Indonesian authorities, according to a report by China Press. However, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the Johor Fire and Rescue Department (JPBM) have yet to officially confirm the matter.

The search and rescue operation involved personnel from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, the Fire and Rescue Department, the Civil Defence Force, and the Iskandar Puteri Police Headquarters.

The deceased’s wife told China Press on Saturday (3 January) that she had confirmed the recovery of her husband’s body.

He leaves behind his wife and three children. Their eldest daughter is eight years old, while their youngest son is only two. She had earlier said in an interview that her husband was suspected of suffering from depression. She believes he had been under excessive stress recently due to work-related and personal issues, and that he had earlier tendered his resignation to a bus company in Singapore.
