Just today (February 28), two buses and one motorcycle were involved in an accident on the road from Genting Highlands to Batang Kali, according to a report by Oriental Daily. The incident happened at around 1.35pm and the police said that initially, the driver of one of the tourist buses carrying 16 passengers noticed something was amiss about one of the buses behind him.

The bus behind him had lost control and the first bus immediately swerved to the side to avoid him but he didn’t manage to do it in time. The bus which had lost control continued skidding and even crashed into the opposite lane. In the process, a motorcycle was hit and both the motorcycle and driver were dragged along with the impact.

The police said that once they received the distress call, they rushed to the scene immediately. Luckily, the passengers on the bus only sustained light injuries and all of them were sent to the hospital. Meanwhile, the police are currently investigating the case to determine the cause of the accident.

Hopefully the other passengers are fine!
