Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof also mentioned that he would invite a representative from the opposition to witness the flying car test drive together.

“The Honorable Paya Besar (Mohd Shahar Abdullah-BN) will be invited and if it is to his liking, we can sit together in the car and snap a few pictures together while flying it.” he continued.

The minister said this during the wrapping-up session of the committee-level Supply Bill 2020 on behalf of the ministry.

Mohd Redzuan has explained before this that the flying car prototype is expected to launch by the end of this year. The production cost will be fully covered by the private sector and it will not need any kind of funds from the government.
