Another netizen, Renu, told WORLD OF BUZZ she believes the floods were caused not only by the heavy rains but also due to drainage problems and high tides.

“Me and my family are very used to the floods and chaos at this point, it happens every year without fail. Despite that, we are still worried as we believe that this is just the beginning. We can sense that we’re in for hell in the coming weeks.”

Non-stop heavy rains, drainage problems and high tides are all to blame,” she added.

To those living in Kuantan, please stay safe.
