We all know that no interstate travel is allowed anymore as announced by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

However, a woman bragged on her social media account that she is able to travel interstate and balik kampung.

On 21st May, a woman has posted several stories on her Facebook account about how she has a ‘cable’ a.k.a. connection in the police force who can make sure that she gets to balik kampung this year. Screenshots of her stories soon spread like wildfire and netizens were of course enraged. Let’s take a look at them.

In this screenshot, the woman claims that she has gotten a permit from the Dungun chief police and she only needs to verify it. She adds,

“Yes, we can go back because our cable is good at what they do. For those of you who can’t go back, just shut up and stay at home, don’t be jealous of me.”

She ended the text in a very sarcastic way that suggests Raya in the city is absurd and she “invites” all of those people to attend her open house in KL on 2nd June.

She uploads a screenshot of a Whatsapp conversation between her and a Sergeant to prove her point. However, there was no context to the conversation.

“Okay, nice. Just fill in the police station as Bandar Kinrara Police Station or you can just give me your details and I’ll fill it in for you.”

She even brags saying, “Easy way out just by using sweet words”.

The Dungun police have since responded and said that it is true that the woman has a permit to travel interstate. However, the reason for her to travel is that her kindergarten in Putrajaya has been broken into and she needs to get her testimonies taken. The police issued her the permit at the end of April following the SOPs.

They are also puzzled as to why the woman needs to make the post viral and they clarified that she will only go to Putrajaya but will not be going back to Dungun.

So there we have it, what do you think about this? Tell us in the comments.
