For those of you who are looking to head to the Immigration Department of Malaysia’s website to get some things done, you might want to hold off for a bit.

Because it looks like someone called CaptainSmok3r is currently running the show.

The Malaysian Immigration Department’s website has currently been hacked by CaptainSmok3r (whoever they are), and has since ensured people that they’re doing it ‘just for fun‘.

Along with pointing out how much fun they are having, the hacker also left everyone with a rather odd expression, written in Persian.

“To health, the rule that he taught, if you are single, you are higher than the king.”

The hack has too caused the website to be unusable as it can’t be reached.

Imigresen Malaysia, on the other hand, took to their Twitter page to share that their website is currently under maintenance

“The website of the Malaysian Immigration Department is under maintenance. Be informed that the website of the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM), which is http://imi.gov.my is being temporarily maintained,” they wrote.

Well, we genuinely hope that they get their website back as there would probably be many out there who are waiting to use their online services.

What do you think about this? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
