An alleged bomoh was apprehended as a woman lodged a police report on him after he tried to sexually assault her. The incident happened in Kluang, Johor.
The female client had contacted the “bomoh” to rid of a santau, which is a spirit sent by someone to possess another person.

Kluang OCPD (Officer-In-Charge of Police District) Asst. Commissioner Mohamad Laham revealed that the woman involved was a 32-year-old single mom who was visiting her step-mother in Taman Kokping.
Apparently the bomoh visited them in their home and told the woman that someone sent a spirit to possess her! He’s a wannabe Barney Stintson, maybe?

She accepted his offer and he proceeded with a 3 day treatment/cleansing plan, which went normally for the most part. It’s only on the third day where things got out of hand. Or should I say ‘handsy’.
Apparently on the third day the bomoh asked for the woman to be bathed in cold water. Which he so conveniently offered to do! And whilst he was washing her down, he got very adventurous;

He then ordered her to lie on a mattress in the room to continue the treatment.
“The man told the victim that the spirit will have to be extracted from her genitals, however the frightened woman ran to her friends house in nearby Kulai before making a police report.”

The suspect is remanded until today (Wednesday) for further investigation. He’s being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for “assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty”.
