The top floor of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Tower 3 caught fire this morning (1 November), believed to have involved the luxury food and beverage area located within the building.
Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Director, Senior Assistant Commissioner Hassan ‘As’ari Omar, confirmed the incident and stated that no casualties have been reported so far.

The 60-storey PETRONAS Tower 3, also known as Menara Carigali, is located adjacent to the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur. The incident went viral this morning after footage showing thick black smoke billowing from the building circulated on social media.
The fire has since been successfully extinguished, according to Sinar Harian.
The blaze was captured by the host of The Economy with Ibrahim Sani, who witnessed it from his nearby residence. At the time of writing, Astro Awani is seeking further information from the Fire and Rescue Department. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have yet to be determined.

The Jalan Tun Razak Fire and Rescue Station, when contacted by Bernama Radio, confirmed the incident and said fire engines had been dispatched to extinguish the blaze.
