Despite their health condition, some Malaysians, especially the elderly are still out there earning some money to ensure the survival of their family. In the past few days, images of a hunchback elderly man, who is also a Grab rider went viral on social media, gaining the sympathy of many netizens.

With the intention of making his life better, a Malaysian YouTuber, Bellestrelle reached out to the senior citizen and told him about a brand new car that she was going to get him. In an Instagram reel posted yesterday (April 16), Belle showed the stack of cash that she had in hand and said that she was headed to the car showroom to purchase the elderly man a new car in order to allow him to work easier.

“The uncle has issues with his back. The doctor suggested that he should not ride his motorcycle anymore,” Bella said in her IG post.

Soon after the purchase was done, Bella brought the 68-year-old Grab rider to the scene and surprised him with the brand-new car. Bella felt touched and almost teared up when the uncle expressed his gratitude and happiness over the gift.

“He reminds me of both my grandfathers. Still working at an old age,” Bella said.

In her video, Bella also said that youth who are lazy and always give excuses about not working should be ashamed of themselves after seeing this 68-year-old uncle who is still working hard for his family despite his health condition. In the meantime, Bella also wished the uncle nothing but happiness.

“You’ve always wanted to make others happy, and here you are”

In the comment sections, many Malaysians took the opportunity to thank Bella for her kindness and generosity.

“Thank you, Bella! I hope you’re blessed with an abundance of rewards for this.”

“I don’t know how much of good deeds the uncle has that he got repaid with the gift from you. I hope he’ll stay healthy.”

“This is what you’ve always wanted, Bella. To make others happy, and now you got it.”

With his hands on the wheel, we hope the Grab delivery rider-turned-driver will now be able to make more money to support his family.
