As the country transitions into endemicity, it has opened more doors of opportunity for foreign singers to perform here in our country. As for the local pop group Dolla, they wish to perform in every state in Malaysia, including Kelantan.

Speaking to Kosmo, Dolla is aware of the perceptions of some of the people who claimed that they bring bad influence due to their sexy images. However, the pop group assured that they just want to spread positive messages to the public.

“When it comes to stage performance, we just follow the label’s plan. If given the chance, we want to give the best performance,” said Syasya, one of the members of Dolla.

Another member of Dolla, Sabronzo, said that she is from Kelantan herself, and stated that they have been to the state several times in the past but not for performance.

“We’ve been to Kelantan a few times, but for vacation. I’m from there myself,” she said.

“Let our music be known”

Dolla also said that it has always been their dream to perform in every state in Malaysia because they want the people to know the existence of their music. In the meantime, they’re also aware of the cultures, mindsets, and laws of different places.

Regardless, Dolla said that they’re not trying to create any trouble but only to work as an artist.

“We understand and respect that everyone has an opinion or value in life. We will not try to force our views on some people. We’ll respect people’s decisions.”

They added that as good citizens themselves, they have to respect each other’s lifestyles.

“If you like us, do continue supporting us.”

Dolla also highlighted that Malaysia is a multi-racial country, and as for the pop group themselves, the members consist of Malay and Chinese performers.

“Despite so, we can still stand together as a group. That’s what makes our country so unique.”

We wish Dolla the best of luck in their future performances, regardless of where they are!
