In every class, there will surely be a handful of students who love to show up late. Some have valid reasons while others are just plain lazy to show up on time.

Some lecturers go to the extent of locking the doors to prevent the latecomers from coming in, while some will just plainly ignore the act and continue on teaching the lesson. But once in a while, it is good to have fun in order to teach students a lesson so that they will remember for a long time.

A video has gone viral of a lecturer committing the perfect prank for a latecomer. In the video, it can be seen that the lecturer was speaking at the front of the class when one of his student slowly sauntered into class. The lecturer said sarcastically,

“Congratulations for finally making it to class!”

He did not stop there. He requested all the students to give the latecomer a good clap for his achievement. As soon as the student sat down, the lecturer immediately dismissed the class and told everyone that they can go home, and even turned the lights off.

The whole situation is funny but the most epic part was the look on the latecomer’s face after hearing his lecturer’s announcement and when the lights actually turned off.
